Tomorrow is the season premier of LOST.  I am besides myself in anticipation.  I know the six others of you who read my blog and watch the show are, too.  You already know LOST is on ABC starting at 8 pm tomorrow night.  Please, will the rest of you watch the final sixteen episodes of LOST?  I’ve given you 42 reasons why you should, as 42 is that magical number from the show.

Here are my 42 reasons as to why you need to watch LOST this winter and spring.

  1. To find out what the hell The Island really is.
  2. To find out what those numbers mean – 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.
  3. To find out if Kate will end up with Jack or Sawyer.
  4. To find out if Jin and Sun will find each other in time and get to be with their daughter.
  5. To find out what Smokey the Monster truly is.
  6. To find out how old Richard Alpert really is and why he doesn’t age.
  7. To find out if Ben or John Locke wins their battle against one another.
  8. To see if Juliet survived the bomb blast.  (She’s on V, so no, but, still … you never know.)
  9. To see Charlie again, who died two seasons ago.
  10. To see if Charlie and Claire are together, dead but Island alive.
  11. To find out who Jacob is.
  12. To find out why there are two John Lockes on The Island.  (One dead, one alive.)
  13. To find out why Rose and Bernard are still alive, and if they will come out of retirement.
  14. To find out if Jacob is alive, or just Island alive.
  15. To find out who the man in black is.  (And no, I don’t mean Johnny Cash.)
  16. To see if Hurley is really dead, which is why he can see dead people.
  17. To find out what the hell Charles Widemore’s problem is with The Island.
  18. To find out if Jack finds redemption.
  19. To find out who Alana is.
  20. To find out if Nadia and Alana are related.
  21. To find out why everyone wants a piece of The Island.
  22. To find out if Ben is evil or good.
  23. To find out if John Locke is good or evil.
  24. To find out the explanation as to why Shannon is the only character who isn’t returning from season one if the rumors are true.
  25. If Shannon is coming back, then to see what trouble she’ll cause next.
  26. To find out if The Dharma Initiative was working for anyone else secretly.
  27. To find out if Miles aka Asain Ghost Whisperer will connect with his father, dead or alive.
  28. To see Sawyer call everyone funny nicknames again.
  29. To see the fabulous and troubled Kate in action.
  30. To see Kate and Claire talk about Aaron and if they will reunite with him if they are alive alive.
  31. To see if Libby comes back and if she and Hurley hook up.
  32. To find out if Walt and Michael and Vincent the dog will ever become a family.
  33. To see if any of the other LOSTIES, like Ana Lucia return to the show.
  34. To see if Claire is pregnant with Charlie’s baby.

  42. Because LOST rocks and it is the last season, boo hoo!

Watch some great new LOST footage here.  Surprise – it’s the first four minutes of the premier.  Hint # 1 – Jack and Rose talking on the plane, and um, there isn’t a crash?  Oh, so excited, I could pee my pants.  As always, don’t forget to go to www.abc.go.com/shows/lost to check in before and after LOST
